It was sunny and windy when we started fishing for crappies and bass. I got bored after a little while so I threw on a # 4 Mepps. I threw it in a shallow bay right off shore and boom! This pike nailed it. It fought for about 10 minutes or so. Thankfully I had a leader on the end of my 6 pound test. He lived to see another day.
