I fished the 2006 Mat-Su Valley Alaska King Salmon Derby every weekend searching for a huge entry. One morning I caught & released 1 Chum Salmon and 8 Kings that all went 36 inches or bigger, all with Mepps #5 Trophy Spinners! This was the biggest Chinook I caught that morning. I estimated the weight at about 45 lbs (not big enough for the derby) but a great trophy none the less...Thanks Mepps!!
