I was fishing the Sinnemahoning Creek for smallmouth bass when I saw what looked to be two huge trout feeding on the hottest day of the summer. It was July 4th and the water was low. The deep holes of the river sized creek held the biting fish. The trout wouldnt hit on anything in my arsenal until I broke out the spinner fly. First cast I hooked the big male and fought him for over 10 minutes. When I finally landed him I had some awe-gazers looking at him that had watched the fight.
