Yakutat, Alaska and the Situk River in the spring is where we go to catch trophy class Steelhead fresh from the ocean.
My friend in Yakutat hosted us for 5 days. The river bank still had 4 feet of snow and the rain would not stop. All it took was an orange Flying C #5 casted upstream and this 30 inch chrome could not resist to bite!
Thanks for the gift Shep, the Flying C lures work for steelhead! I bought a few more now in different colors. Fish ON!
