I fish the Sierra Rivers, streams, and creeks with Mepps spinners when nothing else works. That day I was getting skunked, the river was high and fast and I couldnt get a strike on bait. So I changed up to the good 'ol Mepps, and, first cast got into this nice fat Stanislaus River bow.
