I was fishing in the Wye River for Twait shad when this 10 pound Pike unexpetedly grabbed my Mepps. I had no steel trace on and thankfully hooked the fish in the lip. I was using a 6 and a half foot spinning rod and 10 pound line. The pike gave a good account for itself on the light tackle.
