Was out fishing for 2 hours today. Most of the fish on the redds far upstream all fell back downstream. So I decided to try downstream. But only saw a few fish around. So I found a little spot where 2 fish were spawning pretty much the only 2 fish around. So I took a cast at them with my Mepps. First cast the fish follows the spinner then hits hard. I was fishing a small redd really close to shore in fast water. I got the fish on the swing. Good times!
