I was fishing the shallow fast water rapids casting the spinner upstream. First cast right as the spinner hit the water this little female hit the spinner. At first I thought I was stuck on a rock but she jumped out of the water and ran as soon as she felt the pull. She jumped a few more times then I landed her. I got lucky because I never even set the hook. Another fun Mepps catch! Tomorrow will most likely be the last day I fish since the run is done. Perhaps I can get a few more.
