My buddy had caught two 20 inch brookies a few days earlier (by the way, also on Mepps spinners) and I was determined to catch a true trophy as well. On the VERY first cast of the morning with a #1 red and white Aglia, I hooked and landed this beautiful brook trout. I just couldn't be happier! I finally got my trophy brookie and Mepps sealed the deal for me!
