My father was visiting for the weekend. When I got off of work, we only had about an hour to get some lures wet. Decided to go to my honey hole and was sure glad we did. Weather must have been perfect, storm rolling in that night. Weeds were just high enough off the bottom that running my Aglia close to the surface, almost topwater, produced one of the largest bass I have ever laid into. Have seen their shadows, but never been fortunate enough to entice one. We were standing in about 2 feet of water, and about knocked my father down by bringing him right next to his leg. Thank goodness he had his camera with him. Thanks Mepps!
