Got up early one Sunday and hit the water about 5 a.m. The sun was just getting up above the trees, water fairly calm. Cast out into probably 8 to 10 foot water, and reeled in about 2 or 3 cranks when it hit. It really didn't fight until it got about 15 yards from the bank and then it jumped full body out and tried to spit the lure. That's when I had seen how big it was and backed off my drag, taking my time. Finally landed it about 5 minutes later about 20 yards up the bank. The white and silver combo really works well around here. Worth getting up early for.
