This was a funny catch in a way. I was teaching my friend how to hold the spinner in the current in this pool we were fishing today. I had my spinner 3 foot out in the shallow fast water where no fish were sitting at all as an example how the spinner works. The pool holding the fish was about 5 foot behind where my spinner was. I was showing my friend the details how the spinner spins, feels in the water, and etc. So I kept my spinner in that spot just messing around just in case he might want to see how it spins again. I told him to cast in the pool where the fish were holding and do it the same way I was in the shallow water. I was watching him fish not looking at my spinner and all of a sudden my rod almost got takin away from me. lol This fish wanted the spinner so bad that he had to swim up in the shallow water to hit it. I was happy but yet kinda mad because I wanted my friend to hook a fish. lol This fish put up a great fight jumping all over the place. Even though my friend did not get one it was fun to land this fish. If I was not watching him fish I would of got to see the fish hit my spinner because the water was low and clear. Good times!
