This fish was sitting on the redds with a bunch of chinook salmon by himself with no other cohos around. I was trying to get close but could not get any closer so I had to take a chance and cast upstream and hope the fish would be aggressive enough to hit it as it comes right next to him moving downstream fast. Took my first cast and the fish nails the spinner! Good times!
