I was out fishing this weekend in a small, Adirondack pond deep in the woods in the pursuit of wild Brookies. My father and I caught a couple of fish, despite the bugs, heat, and wind. This is one of the fish I caught, measuring about 10 inches--average for these ponds. I can't wait to get out there again and catch another little gem like this one.
