August 22, 2009 fishing in Saw Bill Bay (Lake Marimon) Canada. This 5 lb.7 oz. bronzeback stuck a #4 silver blade dressed Aglia as I began a retrieve on a rock shoal about 25 feet off the bank. This Smallie looked as if it had just eaten a football! it was almost as round as it was long! This went on for most of the day as the smallest fish (smallmouth) taken that day was in the 4 lb class and above..."heaven sent for sure"!
