I was on a canoe trip, the portage to get to this spot was tough. I was out in the canoe by myself at the time, I was casting the shoreline with no luck. I threw my Mepps into a couple downed trees in the water and this monster darted out and nailed my line. I had to reel it in and net it myself in a canoe.
