I saw this big buck spawning with a hen. He was fighting with another male. I took a cast with my fly rod and the fish hit my fly but missed him. So I grabbed my spinning rod. Took a cast with my spinner. He tried to hit. But spooked off. He came back and he showed some more interest in my spinner but never hit again. I got a good cast and buzzed it in front of him and he came up and swallowed my Mepps.
