On a Alaska Quest River trip near Aniak Alaska, We found this cove while floating down the river, we could see the Sockeys resting, and that's what was happening, we worked the hole for 20 minutes until a Bear was spotted up river! We had 9 guys on the float, Silence, it is amazing how quiet it can get just like that... After the bear moved on, The Salmon were not sleeping anymore, Thanks mister Bear!
