We arrived at the pond and the wind was screaming from the SSE at 15-20 MPH. Our confidence was low, but after several bass in the 1 lb. range were caught, this guy hit my Aglia about 30 feet from shore. He put up a nice fight but finally called it quits. Many more bass were caught that morning, several in the 2 lb. range. Mepps spinners always occupy a prominent spot in my tackle box!
