I got this fish on the first cast holding the spinner in the current in a deep pool. As soon as the spinner hit the water this fish nailed my Mepps hard. I got her in and had her tail. She somehow slipped out of my hands wrapped around me and broke my rod. But I got her in and had to keep her since she swallowed my spinner.
