I had spent much of my afternoon scouring the Presumpscot River in Westbrook, when I decided to settle for a river bank in a local park. After fifteen or so minutes, I felt a strike, set the hook, and after a few minutes, landed this smallmouth bass. Only after releasing him did I realize that I could have kept him! Oh well, I guess next time I'll know better.
