Calm overcast morning with a very light breeze on Lake Barrington & the Inland Fisheries had released approx 700 large Atlantic Salmon into the lake the day before so I decided to have a crack at catching one of these great fighting fish. Casting from one of the pontoons on the lake and working the Aglia Long Rainbo in a 180 degree pattern, I managed to hook and land a magnificeht fish that tipped the scales at 4.6 kgs.( 10 lbs approx ).
