It was a bright sunny morning so I decided to use a black Thunder Bug as there were several hatches of black spinner insects happening. The Meander River had good flow and was running clear & cool, so working a section of fast water I hooked & landed this nice plump brown trout. I managed to catch another 16 browns & rainbows over the 2 kilometers of river, rounding off a good days fishing once again thanks to Mepps.
