Fishing the early morning transition for Arctic char using a 1 ounce hot orange syclops at about 60 feet. The laker came out of nowhere, the electronics lit up and then he hit the spoon. The fish ripped off about 25 feet of line then it was back and forth for about 6 minutes unitl I got him close for a look. The fish was brought up for a quick weight, measured and photo. Revived the fish and it swam off strong in the release. Great unexpected species find for my MEPPS Angler program, I waited over two years to complete. Thanks MEPPS!
