Quite a warm day and clear skies, water was stained but there was good flow from rain a couple of days ago. The rain help freshen the river up a little, caught this nice solid brown trout in a fastwater section of the Mersey River on a Mepps Black Fury #0 and it tipped the scales at 1.5kg. This was my best fish for the season so far then.The photo that I have entered is one that I took and then turned it into a painting from a program in my computer. This trout is still one the biggest that I have caught in the Mersey River for some time thanks to Mepps once again.
