Tom Tulgren and I fished all day in a 14' aluminum boat with a hole in it and were on our way back to drop it off at the Yellow Lake public boat launch. We were just passing Yellow Lake Lodge and I put on the lure- "The Musky Killer". Tom commented why are you putting that thing on? I replied that we had nothing to loose since we haven't had any kind of hit all day. We were just passing Ross's Retreats and I was busy taking a picture of an eagle when it hit.....it almost pulled me out of the boat! Tom coached me through the fight and when I could see the top of the lead out of the water we knew it was a monster!!
