After a tough three hours of wading the Mersey river I could only manage 7 hook ups today all caught on a Mepps #00 Black Aglia spinner, of which all but one was released for another day. It was very hard work in this river as the rocky bottom was very slippery making wading very hard on one's body. It wasn't one of my best days fishing today that's for sure and may have been worse had I not been using the Worlds #1 lure. Here's a photo of the Brown Trout that I kept.
