It had been a long week and there hadn't been much action. I hadn't caught any keepers this trip and was just hoping to catch a few more before calling it. It was late afternoon and I casted out my line. After just a few seconds, I felt a strong pull on my line. I knew it was something, but wasn't sure what. Took me a good few minutes to get it in the boat, didn't put up as much of a fight that I thought it might. I've caught 20-inchers that fought harder. Must have been my lucky day. Biggest fish I've caught in the 20+ years I've been going here. So, it was just my moment. Looking forward to going back next year and a great way to end the trip.
