This is our 8 year old grandson, Xob Laim, on his first Pike fishing trip. He has been fishing since he was three and does an excellent job casting and landing his own fish. His grandmother casted out a #5 Black Fury to show him where the gap in the weed bed was and handed him the rod. Fish was on and the fight began, he fought the fish under and around the boat for about 15 minutes and his grandmother netted it, while I took the video. An incredible fish for a youngster, and a lifetime memory was created thanks to the Mepps Black Fury. All he wants to do now is Pike and Muskie fish, I think its a teeth thing, LOL. Thanks Mepps for creating an awesome lure!! Headed back tomorrow!.
