I was fishing for crappie in the local river, when I saw a swirling in front of me. A red tail popped out of the swirl and I knew it was a large pike. I had already cast out just past the location and as I retrieved my Aglia through the area in front of me, the pike struck! I was using a 6ft medium action rod with an 8lb test line, so I had a long fight before I landed it. It is my largest to date!
