I was fishing the edge of the weed line when I got a weed on the dressed treble hook. Thinking that a fish would not bite on a lure with a weed on it, I started reeling faster so I could get another cast in. The two pound bass slammed the lure and gave me a good fight for a few minutes before I landed it.
