Caught both these big bass within a few minutes of each other at rural farm pond near Nashville, Illinois. They weighed 5 and 6 pounds and were released immediately after the photo was taken. I always use the #3 Mepps because I believe this is the perfect size for largemouth bass and is a dynamic lure to use in ponds.
