I was fishing with a friend who supplied all of the fishing gear. I randomly selected a gold Syclops. When I hooked this fish I thought I was hung up and would lose the lure. Then, the weed starting pulling back and I realized I had this one on the line. My friend talked me through letting it tire out so I could land it. After landing this one I only used the Mepps Syclops and had great luck. I returned in 2015 and again stuck with the gold Mepps Syclops and had great success.
