Fished at my girlfriends grandparents tiny little pond a few times. Always would pull out little 4-6" bass weighing well under a pound. Just a nice little confidence pond always good bites. Sun was in and out all afternoon and noticed I had caught when the sun went under. Sun came out, so I took a little break. Just as I finished a cold one the sun dropped under. Casted out and started reelin in for about 5 seconds. I felt a bite and set my hook. All of a sudden my drag just whined like crazy. I knew I was onto something. Had this guy on in under a couple minutes. Long story short it's the biggest ever pulled out of theat pond since they bought it back in the 80's. Never would have thought anything this size would have been lurking in those waters.
