We were fishing for Smallmouth or Walleye in about 20' of water. She hit on my first cast and surfaced soon after. She ran 6-8 times and went under the boat and back and forth twice. Fought for 20-25 min. Fishing with 6'Eagle Claw med/hvy rod and open face reel. No leader. The guide made 4 attempts to net the fish with a 24-30" net. Very lucky to get the fish in. 54 1/2" length and 46.5 lbs weight according to average weight for that length. She is still swimming so go try for yourself.
