A buddy and I were fishing at Vermilac mainly for pike on a crappy rainy day. It is mainly a pike/walleye lake. I started off chucking spoons around and eventually got a bite. Got the pike to the boat and it came off. Threw the spoons for a little while longer with no success so I switched to the musky killer. This lure was straight outta the package and never touched water before. I chucked it around for a little while and boom I got a fish on. Grabbed the net and lifted my catch out of the water. It was a 19.5 inch 4lb Largemouth that right now is my best bass. We were shocked, Neither of us had any idea that there were bass in this lake. A couple casts later I got another 19.5 inch largemouth that was a little bit smaller.
