My buddy and I where fishing our local lake. We were heading in to the boat landing. We decided to troll with our Mepps #5 Blue Platium. We thought we had a bunch of weeds on our line till mine started fighting back. I had a nice pike on. We got mine in the boat first cause we didn't think Kasper had a fish on. He brought his line in and all we could see was weeds, so I lean out of the boat pulling weeds off. All at once I'm looking at a pike right in the eye. Then the fight was on! It took us 15 minutes to finally get him back in. It was a great time. Kaspers dad got his mounted and we ate mine. LOL, all and all, the best day fishing I had since my grandpa passed. He always said Mepps was the best fishing lure God gave to man, and he was right! I love all my Mepps and one day I will own all of them. I know my grandpa was watching that day proud of me and Kasper. (Kasper left myself Sheldon right)
