It was a frigid cold rainy day. I went through all my lures and had one more lure to try. It was my favorite lure which has landed me my personal best in the past of 36 inches. I cast my Mepps Maribou on the bank and slowly let it plop in the water. As soon as it hit the water I cranked the reel as fast as I could and WHAM, this lunker latched on to the lure. It put up a very good fight but in the end I came out on top and ate like a king that night.
