It was a very bright / blue sky day and the fishing was tough. I nailed this bass from a fishing bridge in a park and then walked the bass over to the bank where I would be able to give it a proper release rather than just throwing him back into the water. After I landed it, a guy walking by with his fishing pole said, "so there are fish in here!". It sounded like he hadn't caught anything -- probably wasn't using a Mepps! :)
