I had fished this spot before and seen an Alpha largemouth but he wasn't interested. Went straight back to the spot a month later and caught him after only a few casts. As usual.....very light tackle, 4lb line and a dressed Mepps lure - fishing in just a few feet of clear water. They can't resist a Mepps!
