My friend just built a house across town with an existing pond. We thought we’d just try our luck and I had the Mepps on from the day before and thought I’d try it figuring it could be a tad too big for the pond size. But this pond had some secret big guys in there. We started on the cleared side which some small tree trunks new and old. A few casts in and he hit right by shore completely unexpected!
