Seconds after casting out my Mepps #5, I felt some huge tension on my rod. The fish was staying down good, so I had a feeling that it was a Musky. After about a two minute battle, my dad nets the fish! My hands were shaking from all the excitement. 40" of beast in the net, all caught on my GoPro! This was the second time I've landed a 40"+ Musky with my spinning rod using my go to Mepps #5. I'm so blessed to be able to float this classic stretch of river with my dad every summer.
