I was fishing the rapids on the Turkey River near Cresco, Iowa when I hooked into this Smallmouth Bass! I had the Mepps Aglia Streamer on my line, and it got the job done! As I made the cast and was bringing the Streamer through the rough water, I could see it spinning and flashing. The Smallie saw it too, because it shot up from near the rocks and hammered the Streamer! It was a great fight and such a great feeling to pull it up out there! Mepps lures always come through for me!
