During a rainy afternoon, I couldn't get the fish to cooperate on a variety of other lures, so I brought out the ol' workhorse, a #3 plain Aglia and almost immediately caught this fat rainbow and a couple more like it. I can always count on Mepps spinners to make a few fish bite when nothing else works.
