When the bite gets tough, I slow roll a Mepps XD along the bank and first dropoff, and usually entertain myself catching smaller bass and panfish. This particular windy and cold morning, I hooked a really solid Dale Hollow smallmouth that measured 20". Even a small
spinner can catch a big fish! It was made even better because I had my vintage Mepps long sleeve T-shirt on that cold May morning!
