Out on my kayak trolling for pickerel when I hook into a big bass. I almost have it in but it gets off; I cast out again and get a solid strike. My kayak starts moving while fighting the fish and I almost lost my rod. After a few minutes the fish starts coming up and I was hoping for the bass, but this channel cat was on the line. I didn't care, it was a good surprise all thanks to my trusty squirrel tail. It catches them all.
