Fishing trip with large group of Bud's. It won the Big Fish within our group. So as the story goes lodge gave us a tackle box but some how the first day got a tacklebox from another boat because with another guide. In the bottom of that box under the stack of spoons they told us to use (5 of diamonds and daredevle) was the Mepp's spinner Aglia Long !/2 oz Hot Firetiger that which we called The Jamaica because of the colors. Well after a few minutes I was catching double my companion, he soon changed to it. Highlights for 3-days we don't remember the numbers too many to count. At least 5 more between us were over 40". This 42 " Northern Pike came from under the boat behind me. As I was reeling it in I saw it hit the lure about 6' from the boat and kept running till it was landed.
