Mepps has made me into a spinnerbait fan with the #3 Comet Combo. This morning at 8am I paddled my kayak along the western side of Lily Pond, made a cast using the chartreuse Mister Twister that came with the Comet. I thought the cast up was too close to the shore but I reeled it back slowly anyway, and "wham," a nice 1 lb. largemouth hooked up.
