I was just home for a couple weeks on leave from Afghanistan and went out to a friends house. He lives on the Cedar River in ND and I decieded to try to catch a few fish in some of the holes we had found in the small shallow river. In less than a half hour, we had caught 8 northern pike all from Mepps spinners. Most of them where 6-14lbs.
