I walked on top of the dam to a concrete section that was going into the lake and stood on that concrete slab because I figured it was much safer than standing on the dam itself with a 30-40 foot fall. I casted my jig for three casts without a single hit and then my first cast with this Mepps spinner I caught my pike.
